Nita Rudy is Program Director overseeing day-to-day management of Schoolhouse to Statehouse in Mississippi.  Prior to joining PPS, Nita worked for seven years with the Center for Parent Leadership based in Lexington, Kentucky, where she assisted community based education groups developing and running parent leadership programs in eleven states.  Her work with foundations, school districts and parent information resources centers throughout the nation has helped raise awareness of the importance of parent involvement in improving student achievement.  She is a graduate of Western Kentucky University and resides in Jackson, Mississippi. Becky Glover is a native of Meridian, Mississippi. Prior to joining PPS, Becky was a professional photographer and also worked for her church, the March of Dimes and the American Red Cross. She is a proud product of Tupelo Public Schools and Mississippi State University. She and her husband, Winky, have one son, Hamp, a recent graduate of Meridian High School and now a student at Mississippi State University. Email Becky

 

Sally Gray is a native of Vicksburg, Mississippi. Prior to joining PPS, Sally was a teacher's assistant for nine years in the Tupelo, Mississippi, public schools. Sally received her law degree from the University of Mississippi and practiced law for seven years. Active in her church, community and the public schools, Sally and her husband, Lloyd, have three children, two in college and one at Tupelo High School. Email Sally


Victoria Peters has worked the past 17 years with churches and non-profit organizations in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. She also worked for three years as a Career Center Technician at Hattiesburg High School. Active in her church and community, Victoria and her husband, Roy, have two children, a recent graduate and current student at Oak Grove High School. Email Victoria

 

 

Myya Robinson is a native of Moss Point, Mississippi. Prior to joining PPS, Myya worked with the Moss Point school district and as a reporter and producer for WLOX-TV. She is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi. She and her husband, Damian, have two daughters – Kennedy who is seven, and Kyndle, who is two. The family lives in Pascagoula.
